What is the NIFT Situation Test?

The Situation Test is a hands-on practical examination conducted by NIFT at its campuses for shortlisted B.Des candidates. It is the third and final round of the NIFT selection process (after CAT and GAT).

In the Situation Test, students are given:

A theme or situation (announced on the spot)
A set of raw materials — paper, cardboard, thread, pins, tape, fabric scraps, etc.
2 hours to create a 3D model that interprets the theme
A brief written explanation of their concept
